Hallelujah

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 May 2026

Hallelujah (“the app”) is built to respect you. This policy explains exactly how your information is handled. In short: we do not collect, track, or transmit your personal data.

No account, no tracking

Data stored on your device

The following are stored only on your device (in the app’s local storage and its private App Group container) and are never uploaded to us or anyone else:

Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder, the notification is scheduled locally on your device. It is used solely to remind you of the daily verse. You can turn it off at any time.

Audio narration

Verse and prayer narration is generated on-device using Apple’s speech synthesis. No audio is recorded or uploaded.

Purchases

Optional premium features are sold as subscriptions and an optional one-time purchase, processed by Apple through the App Store. Payments are handled entirely by Apple; the app never sees or stores your payment details. Apple may provide us with anonymized, aggregated sales information.

Scripture & content

Scripture is provided from public-domain Bible translations. Prayers are original devotional writing offered for reflection.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
